Sky Atlas
Sky Atlas - DOWNLOAD
A computer program, which allows you to get the basic information concerning: position, brightness, size and spectrum of most of the astronomical objects seen in the sky: stars, nebulas, galaxies and planets. The position of the cursor on the celestial sphere seen on the lower left side of the screen (right ascension and declination) makes the orientation in space easier and the quick identification of an object allows you to get the basic information about it.Moreover, the simulation option allows you to get to know the position of the stars, planets and moon at any time. There are two modes of sky map presentation. The first one – the sky atlas, which is more demonstrative as far as the object information is concerned. The second observation mode is the actual view used to observe realistic sky maps. You can also save the observed celestial sphere fragment to a *.jpg file format.
