NavigationThe Sky Atlas navigation is easy and intuitive. There is a geocentric coordinate system in the program. There are two ways of navigation within the coordinate system. They both consists in the rotation of celestial sphere in two axis: right ascension and declination. For the basic navigation you can use the mouse, moving it at the edges of the screen towards the area, which we want to see.The moves within the vertical axis cause the change of the declination,The moves within the horizontal axis cause the change of the right ascension. In addition, we can precisely specify the middle of the observed sky fragment using the NAVIGATON window, moving the appropriate slides. Option available by: Mouse: (right mouse button)->OPTIONS->NAVIGATION Keyboard: F6 | |||||||
